SNAX SPA is an Algerian company operating in the agrifood sector. Its activities are centered on the production and marketing of Chips and Soft Cakes (Madeleines and Muffins).
Our company was created in 2001 under the legal form of SARL by Mr. Samir AIT AOUDIA, current CEO, a young Algerian entrepreneur who decided to create a company and a brand dedicated to young Algerians by offering fun and tasty products which can be consumed at any time of the day, at home or outside, alone, with family or friends.
Since its creation, our company has grown in terms of infrastructure, product range, market share and workforce. In 2008, our company opened its capital to foreign investors to acquire the status of Joint Stock Company (SPA).
The current workforce is 530 employees with 3 production teams mobilized to guarantee products and services in line with market requirements and meet the needs of customers and consumers both qualitatively and quantitatively.
In order to meet these needs, the Management regularly calls on internationally renowned experts to assist its teams in research and development projects relating to both recipes and production process.
In order to bring its products closer to the largest possible number of customers and consumers, SPA SNAX relies on an approved distributor’s network covering the entire national territory.
In early 2019, our company started exporting its products to Tunisia, Libya, Mauritania and Qatar.

OUR QUALITY AND OUR SERVICES
In order to guarantee products quality, a rigorous selection is carried out on the different raw materials used in particular those directly applied into the composition of the various products.
The internal and external production environment, the workshops as well as the machines and various production process tools are cleaned daily.
The Quality Department ensures compliance with food safety standards as well as compliance with the physical and organoleptic parameters of each product during all stages of production and storage.
After-sales follow-up is carried out by the Quality Department in Collaboration with both the Sales and the Marketing Departments in order to ensure effective customer listening.
In 2001 at the company creation, the factory was located in the municipality of Réghaia in the east of Algiers until 2002, year in which the factory and the company’s headquarters were moved to the municipality of Baba Ali in the south of Algiers on a site which covers an area of around 3 hectares distributed between the chips factory, the soft cakes workshop and the various warehouses of raw materials and finished products.
In 2010 and in order to meet the growth imperatives, the Management proceeded to the assembly and installation of a new chips factory with new equipment at the cutting edge of technology in terms of production, packaging and quality control of the various products.
In 2017, the company made significant equipment investments in order to respond quantitatively and qualitatively to market demand by installing a new Natural Potato Chips production line and new packaging equipment, which quadrupled the plant’s production capacity.
Our company has an administrative building, changing rooms, a water tank, vegetable fat tanks, a waste storage area with tanks used for processing and recycling.
Finally, our company can load up to 10 trucks simultaneously.
